You wont blame them if they dont want to take those seats. School districts are taking special precautions during this heat wave. These fourth and fifth graders at painter elementary have an option. After lunch they can take recess or stay inside where its cooler and watch a movie. Most are staying indoors. We would rather be somewhere cool and fresh than being hot outside. Reporter besides after lunch movies, the 24 schools in the district get to do other special procedures during heat waves. Children are encouraged to drink lots of water and refill their own bottles. If they do hit the playground, they will be closely watched. There are plenty of people out on yard duty. This video from sky 7 hd shows the train where myers went hiking his common law wife called police last night, after he didnt return home. Myers recently celebrated his 70th birthday, she told detectives, he liked to hire mcguire peek trail a couple times a year. She expected him home for a late lunch. He didnt make it. Search crews located his car near the trail head and they combed the hills until 2 00 this morning. Then they resumed the effort at first light today. Just about when they planned to break for lunch the search and rescue helicopter spotted a body. It was one of the highest peaks in the area, there is no footing up there. We are investigating to determine whether he fell or what not. They will take the coroner to the area where the body was found. We expect to learn more about how and why he died.
