Optomed will develop an advanced IT system for Finnish university eye clinics. Optomed and Carl Zeiss were awarded the contract through a public procurement process. The development phase is expected to last 18 months, after which the joint municipal authorities’ healthcare districts will separately decide on the system’s deployment. The five Finnish university hospitals serve approximately 60 per cent of the Finnish population (around 3.3 million people). Optomed will reta
