The first time Judy Willman saw “The Boys in the Boat,” she couldn’t help but view it as a documentary. It was, after all, an epic tale of Olympic Games heroes centered in large part around her father, Joe Rantz.
“The Boys in the Boat” film directed by George Clooney will be shown in an advance screening in Clallam County on Dec. 8, but attendance is by invitation only and sponsorships, which start at $1,000, are a fundraiser for the Joe Rantz Rotary Youth Fund.
