An Onondaga County lawmaker is proposing a new way to keep trucks from hitting the Onondaga Lake Parkway Bridge.
Legislator Judith Tassone has asked the state legislature to require special GPS devices in commercial vehicles, which would direct drivers away from the notorious bridge. Three trucks have struck the bridge this year, including one earlier this week.
