A selfish shooter
Thumbs Down: Last week, someone with a BB or pellet gun thought it would be cool to go around shooting at the windows of vehicles, homes and businesses in Alexandria. Sixteen incidents were reported to the police department. One of the homes that was hit was Mat Hennen’s. The shooter left a bunch of bullet holes in his big living room window – in a direct line with a place where his dog and kids often play. Fortunately, no one was injured but it left Hennen, and other property owners, feeling frustrated and angry. “What bothers me,” Hennen said, “is that it took the shooter five seconds and about $2 worth of ammunition and it’ll cost me a couple thousand dollars for the window… If someone wants to go and shoot some place, I have a field to show him.” Hennen hopes that someone with more information about the shootings will come forward and contact police at 320-763-6631.
