A museum in Annan is celebrating Scottish Apprenticeship Week by welcoming a new apprentice. The Devil’s Porridge Museum is pleased to take on board new modern apprentice, Desray Coward, from Annan, who will help them with historical projects. Desray will be completing her modern apprenticeship in digital marketing at the museum from the end of March. The qualification takes a year and will see Desray take control of the museum’s social media, website and online shop. Judith Hewitt, museum manager said: “We’ve known Desray as a volunteer for the past couple of years and we will be delighted to have her working here and completing an apprenticeship.
