Sen Bong Go extends help to Iloilo City fire victims

ILOILO CITY, Dec. 31 (PIA) – The Office of Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go provided financial assistance, food packs, face masks, face shields, and vitamins to fire incident victims of Barangay Boulevard, Molo district, Iloilo City on December 30. A total of 24 families were affected by the fire that broke out on Christmas eve. Thirteen houses were destroyed, while two were damaged. Department of Trade and Industry-Iloilo OIC provincial director Judith Degala, Rosalie Bilbao of the National Housing Authority, and Joselito Estember of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) briefed representatives of families of the assistance provided by their respective agencies during the distribution of assistance in Baluarte Elementary School.
