‘According to the maxim ‘form follows function’, every detail has a purpose,’ say the watchmakers behind German watch brand Nomos.
It is a design philosophy brought to life in Glashütte, the location of the brand’s manufacture which has been handbuilding their movements and components since 1990. The largest mechanical watch manufacturers in Germany, they create the pieces which are thought up in the brand’s Berlin studio. The finished aesthetic is a typically restrained design, a slender case and clean, uncluttered dial the cornerstones of every Nomos watch.
