Former Republican opponent Alexandra del Moral Mealer dropped her election contest lawsuit, initially filed earlier this year, which challenged her loss against Democrat incumbent Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo. This was one of the other 21 election contest lawsuits filed by GOP candidates after the November 2022 election.
