A message to Jennifer Bjorhus [updated]
The Star Tribune is a major metropolitan daily backed by the resources of a billionaire owner with an incredibly high tolerance for mediocrity and embarrassment. In addition to the Star Tribune he also owns the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Star Tribune could serve as a constructive force opposing the civic degradation of Minneapolis, but it is crippled by cowardice and left-wing hackery. The paper’s inability to serve a constructive civic role is its greatest failure by far. I don’t want to minimize it.
However, it also fails as a provider of news. Today Jenifer Bjorhus reports on the dismissal of a lawsuit brought by the Minnesota Automobile Dealers Association against the state of Minnesota, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and the Commissioner of the MPCA:
Ex-mayor Cyril Bennis takes Stratford District Council to the high court over freedom of information
| Updated: 18:49, 19 February 2021
Taking a rest from tending Stratfordâs swans Cyril Bennis spent time last week taking Stratford District Council to the high court.
The former councillor and mayor has been involved in a five-year battle against SDC after he claims they withheld information under the Freedom Of Information Act.
It all started when Cyril questioned the way an elected council member had proceeded with regards to a planning application, and asked for an investigation to be made.
Cyril explained: âI felt the councillor would have compromised themselves in the application and I wanted to understand how the district council dealt with that. I believe the person should not have been in the planning meeting.â

The core ideology of our Ruling Class, which citizens contradict at peril of losing their livelihood, is Race Denialism. Statistical differences in outcome by race
only reasons for those differences you may discuss in public are social: poverty, oppression, lack of self-esteem. And in fact all of those reasons have a single root cause: “systemic racism” on the part of whites towards other races.
Of course, there are at least two problems with this Race Denialism.
Problem One: Half a century of efforts, including massive favoritism towards blacks, expenditures of trillions, and the election of a black President, have made only a slight dent in the differences of outcome.
