KUWAIT CITY, April 27: The Criminal Section in the Court of Cassation, headed by Judge Nayef Al-Dahoum, sentenced former Deputy Secretary-General of the SalafiMovement Dr Hakim Al-Mutairi to life imprisonment in absentia in a State Security case dubbed as ‘Gaddafi’s tent leaks’, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Earlier, the State Security Unit at the Ministry of Interior referred Al-Mutairi to the Public Prosecution in relation to information leakage involving former Libyan president Muammar Gaddafi. Al-Mutairi faced several State Security charges, such as spreading false news and offending the Amiri entity. Case files indicate that information was leaked through social media in the form of an audio recording of Al-Mutairi talking about the situation in the region and plans to use the tribes to instigate chaos in a number of Gulf countries and ouster the regimes in these countries during his meeting with the former Libyan president.
