Come Monday, Judge Matthew Sheehan will preside in Vigo Superior Court 5.
After serving two years as the judge in Terre Haute City Court, Sheehan will oversee a court that handles felony and misdemeanor criminal cases, civil cases, and the Drug Court problem-solving program.

When Judge Michael Rader steps into retirement from the bench of Vigo Superior Court 5 at the end of 2020, he will be wrapping up 12 years of overseeing criminal and civil cases as well as a busy Drug Court program that has helped hundreds of people overcome substance abuse.
âTwelve years is a long time, and yet itâs not,â Rader said recently while talking about his years on the bench.
