Judge Luann Cooperrider
Judge Cooperrider signed a search warrant for the Perry County Animal Shelter, concerning a dog lost in a building unattended for several days.
Judge Cooperrider heard three Children Services cases. In each case the child involved was placed into the temporary custody of Children Services due to drug use by the parents. All parents were ordered into drug-alcohol treatment, mental health counseling and supervised visitation.
An 18-year-old girl was charged with drug possession. She was fined court costs, placed on intensive probation with drug testing, and entered into Stanton Villa. Her family was ordered to take part inr treatment.

A New Lexington girl was fined court costs. Her license was suspended until she shows her grade card to Judge Cooperrider. She was ordered to attend counseling. She was placed at ALPHA and on intensive probation.
A 17-year-old Crooksville boy charged with underage consumption was fined court costs. His license is suspended until age 18 and he was ordered to complete the Choices Program. He was placed on intensive probation and in the Youth and Family Services Program.
A 15-year-old Somerset youth was fined $50, court costs and $40 restitution. The youth is now unable to obtain a divers license until all programs and costs are paid and complied with. The youth was ordered to write a letter of apology and complete the Theft Program.
