Marquis Jermayne Goodman pleaded guilty, on Feb. 20, 2024, to two counts of second-degree murder in the October 2021 homicides of two women on Charleston’s West Side. Bria Nicole White, 26, and Kytiana Belcher, 22, were found on Hunt Avenue and Grant Street respectively after police received a shots fired call. The two died where they were found. Goodman was arrested about a week later.
