MOORHEAD (KFGO) - A Clay County grand jury has indicted 25-year-old James Kollie on several charges in connection with the December death of his mothe.

Court news: Charges filed in case of fake heroin sale
One man received $1,000 in predocumented drug task force “buy money,” and was supposed to provide 10 grams of heroin. But instead of heroin he provided 9.42 grams of flualprazolam and brorphine, according to the criminal complaint.

Keenan Carlos Lawrence, 44, of Chicago, was charged in Becker County District Court with a felony count of selling simulated drugs.
According to court records, on May 14, he arranged to sell heroin to a confidential reliable informant with the West Central Minnesota Drug and Violent Crime Task Force in Becker County.
Lawrence took an undisclosed amount of predocumented task force “buy money,” but instead of heroin he provided flualprazolam (a new psychoactive substance considered a “designer benzodiazepine,”) and brorphine (a synthetic opioid similar to fentanyl), according to the criminal complaint.
