Late in Travis Bryan IIIâs time as a Texas A&M undergraduate in the 1960s, he got into a mild argument with his father, Travis Bryan Jr.
The finance major, a son and grandson of bankers, said his fatherâs words altered the trajectory of his life.
âTrav, you like to argue so much, why donât you become a lawyer?â
âI donât even think he meant it, but he threw that out there, and at first I thought it was ridiculous, but then I got to thinking about it and realized I liked to win arguments and take facts and prove that Iâm right,â Bryan, now 73, said in an interview last week.
