Murder charges levied against a woman in the case of human remains being found in a Maquon storage locker were dismissed by a judge in Knox County Court Thursday. 50-year-old Marcy Oglesby had charges of murder, aggravated battery, and concealment of a homicidal death dismissed by Judge Andrew Doyle during a hearing. This leaves Oglesby facing less serious charges of concealing the death of a person, forgery and not having a valid FOID card. Knox County State's Attorney Jeremy Karlin tells WGIL his office "respectfully disagrees with Judge Doyle's interpretation of Illinois law and his decision."
