TEL AVIV - The 16th Giornata del Contemporaneo , an event dedicated to contemporary art in Israel, was a success this year with a rich calendar of online events and initiatives organized by the Italian embassy and the Italian cultural institute (Iic) in Tel Aviv, said the diplomatic office. It said that on December 9 the artist Stefano Cagol participated in a round table of the Institute in collaboration with the Center for Contemporary Art in Tel Aviv, dedicated to his work The time of the flood . The video installation will be on display at the Center until February 6, with the support of the Italian Council - cultural ministry 2019. The round table, which was followed online by some 300 spectators - the embassy explained - was attended by Matteo Piccioni of the cultural ministry, Giorgia Calò (curator of the project), Silvana Greco (Institut fuer Judaistik Freie Universitaet Berlin) and Mareike Dittmer (Director of Public Engagement).
