A total solar eclipse, which was experienced Monday by millions of skygazers in parts of Mexico, the United States and Canada, has concluded its path over North America.
On April 8th, a total solar eclipse swept across North America, casting a shadow from Mexico to Canada. This celestial event, where the moon perfectly aligns between the Earth and the Sun, turned.
NASA scientists took full advantage of Monday’s eclipse to collect data and study the Earth, moon and sun in different ways, the agency’s deputy administrator said. One area of specific interest is the sun’s corona, or outer atmosphere.
