welcome to mornings on 2! it is friday, april 6th. right now, fremont police remain at the scene of a homicide. it happened around 11:00 last night. ktvu s allie rasmus was the first reporter on the scene at 4:30 this morning and joins us live with what police and neighbors are saying. reporter: we just got an update from fremont police. they told us about the victim of this fatal shooting. he s a 20-year-old resident of fremont, and it was around 11:00 last nights when neighbors reported hearing gunfire. several shots ringing out in front of that apartment building behind us. you see it s a pretty residential area, there s some people walking out of that apartment complex this morning. investigators have been here since 11:00 last night. the victim of that gunshot wound was passed away at the hospital. this is central avenue between joseph and several neighbors have come up to us to tell us what they saw and heard before the shooting. one neighbor heard what sounded li
