The launch happened at the FilOil Flying V Centre, San Juan’s primary vaccination hub, and was led by Mayor Francis Zamora and other city government officials and employees.
“With the arrival of these single-shot vaccines, we are getting closer to reaching our target of inoculating 70 percent of our population with two doses by end of August. We have also opened our third vaccination site at VMall Greenhills Shopping Center so I am confident that we will hit our goal,” Zamora said.
The city previously opened its third vaccination hub last July 19 located at the third floor Events Place of VMall which can accommodate 1,000 vaccinees a day and will increase the city’s daily vaccination rate to 5,000 jabs, including jabs done at the city’s primary vaccination sites FilOil Flying V Centre and Theater Mall Cinemas 1 and 2.
