The committee also identified three office-bearers of a student union as being “part of the conspiracy to suppress the facts related to ragging that happened on August 9 and the previous incidents in hostels and premises.”
The court allowed the police to interrogate him in jail, it is learnt. When entering the court on Friday, he did not answer any questions from the media.
So far, police have arrested 13 people, including current and former students of the JU, in connection with the student’s death. While 12 accused have been arrested for murder, one has been held for allegedly obstructing the police from discharging their duty.
