Care home residents across the nation have filmed themselves wishing the World War 2 veteran a swift recovery after he was taken to hospital on Sunday evening.
Sir Tom, known simply as Captain Tom remains in his local hospital in Bedford and is being treated for Covid-19 and pneumonia.
His bout with the virus prompted 100-year-old Nora Reynolds to send a video from her care home in Shropshire.
