Tributes have been paid to Joyce Richardson TRIBUTES have been paid to Joyce Richardson, of Walmsley, who died on January 11, 2021, at the age of 88. Joyce was the beloved wife of the late Keith, much-loved mum of Peter and Joanne, mother-in-law to Scarlett and Keith and a devoted nanna of Gemma, Emily and Sian. Born in Egerton, she was an active member of Christchurch Walmsley and a life-long member of the Walmsley Church Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society. She starred in several shows with the society, alongside her late husband and her two sisters, and served as secretary. She enjoyed travel, regularly visiting Spain and Portugal with her family - and she adored her grandchildren.

TROY The end of 2020 passed with many goodbyes, and one of them includes the end of a longstanding men’s clothing store in Troy.
Eli of Troy Menswear, which was located along Rochester Road, near East Long Lake Road, had a closing day of Dec. 31, according to owner Randy Norman. The store sold menswear everything from dresswear, casualwear and sportswear to shoes, suits and sweaters.
ELIZABETHTON - Charlie âChuckâ Rhondel Richardson, age 72, of Elizabethton, passed in the arms of his loving wife, at his residence, under the care of Hospice, Tuesday, December 15th. Born and raised in Elizabethton, Chuck was born on January 19, 1948, son of Earl and Esther (Stines) Richardson. In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by sisters Lois Nave and Joyce Richardson and infant brother James Richardson; and an infant sister, Alice Richardson. Chuck was a 1966 graduate of Happy Valley High School, Elizabethton. Chuck served his country for a total of 17 years. He first served with the United States Marine Corps, Lima Company 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines, serving in Vietnam 1968/1969. Chuck then served with the United States Army. Chuck was a recipient of two Purple Hearts.
