A hearing was held in Sacramento on Wednesday to discuss the work of California s reparations taskforce - the first state-supported reparations team. They will present their report July 1.
Rev. Amos Brown, a member of California reparations task force, attended a state banquet in Ghana as part of Vice President Kamala Harris delegation rather than take part in a meeting.
