how much do you think it s getting that treatment? not enough, i would say. there s been a lot of good journalism done, but i don t sense that there is a tone to it or an overall context in the journalism that says red alert, our democracy is at risk here. it s sort of high jinx and bad behavior in state parties and one side using bad smelling efforts to seek advantage. but it doesn t look to me like the scale of the threat is reflected in what s being said. what you re not seeing in the coverage is an underlying message this is abnormal, this
