HM the King Congratulates Paraguayan President on his Country s National Day

Rabat - His Majesty King Mohammed VI has sent a message of congratulations to the President of the Republic of Paraguay, H.E. Mario Abdo Benítez, on the occasion of his country’s national day. The Sovereign expresses, in the message, his warmest congratulations to President Benítez, wishing the Paraguayan people continued progress and prosperity. HM the King also seizes this opportunity to welcome the friendly relations between the two countries, reiterating his determination to work together with the Paraguayan President to consolidate them and develop bilateral cooperation to cover various sectors with the aim of serving the common interests of the two peoples and strengthening South-South cooperation and solidarity. 

Covid-19: Vaccination Campaign Expanded to 60-64 Years Old and People with Chronic Diseases

Rabat - The national vaccination campaign will be extended, starting next Wednesday, to the age group between 60 and 64 years and to people suffering from chronic diseases, the Ministry of Health announced on Sunday. In parallel with the vaccination of the categories currently targeted, namely those over 65 years of age, the vaccination operation will be extended, as of February 24, to the age group 60-64 years, as well as to the first group of people suffering from chronic diseases, including cancerous diseases, and who benefit from mandatory medical coverage schemes (CNOPS, CNSS) and RAMED, specified the Ministry in a statement. To this end, the Ministry of Health once again invites all citizens belonging to the targeted categories to continue their adhesion to this major national project, with a view to achieving herd immunity, by sending an SMS to the toll-free number 1717 or by consulting the liqahcorona.ma website to find out the date and place of vaccination.
