TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - A 58-year-old man is found guilty of contracting without a license in a Bisbee court.
According to a news release, the charge stemmed from a 2019 Arizona Registrar of Contractors investigation that found Josildo Bonfim contracted to remodel a kitchen and dining nook for $4,750.
However, after being paid $4,230, Bonfim abandoned the job without finishing the work. The homeowners also alleged most of the work he did complete was poor and would need to be redone by a licensed contractor. Additionally, the work required a permit but no building permit was obtained.
