Antoinette Hall opened its doors on Christmas of 1868 in Pulaski, Tennessee and was used for local productions, traveling entertainment, graduations, lectures, and more throughout the years.
When the STAAR Theatre group was looking for a new home for their performances, they stumbled upon a pretty interesting discovery at Antoinette Hall when they found a secret stage that had been hidden for many years. There was a devastating fire in 1867 that burned down a lot of Pulaski Square (this is where the hall is located).
Tammy Pierchoski from STAAR Theatre explained what happened, “It’s after the war, reconstruction era, so he [Angenold Cox] decided to build this community center to bring people together.” “He did that in the form of an opera hall, and he named it Antoinette Hall after his wife.” It served as an entertainment venue for several years before turning into a clothing store and later as a location for music videos, tours, photo shoots, and even paranormal investig
