In March of 2022, 13-year-old Josiah Garmon was waiting for a bus ride home when some students at the school asked him how high he could jump. Not knowing that he was doing a TikTok challenge, known as the 'Skull Breaker Challenge,' he jumped. That is when he broke his arm. Loved ones said the school district was negligent and nobody called for medical help.
Josiah Garmon broke his arm after his classmates asked him how high he could jump. He says he did not know it was the 'Skull Breaker' Tik Tok Challenge. His family filed a negligence lawsuit against the Palm Beach County School Board, and their lawyer alleges the district removed surveillance video from that day. The trial is set for October.
