Pleasant Hill Man Killed in Cass County Crash
A Pleasant Hill man was killed in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday morning in Cass County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2009 Pontiac, driven by 38-year-old Joshua K. Kolden of Pleasant Hill, pulled into the path of a southbound 1995 Kenworth, driven by 63-year-old Eddie G. Beaty of Independence, on Missouri 7, south of 163rd Street at 6:27 a.m.
Kolden taken to Lee s Summit Medical Center by Lake Lotawana EMS, and was pronounced dead at 7:33 a.m. by Dr. Nicole Cloutier.
Kolden was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
