he s calling us now from his hospital bed. joshua nolan, you escaped your time in the navy and you re now a civilian and something like this happens, you wind up with a bullet in the leg. how did you what did you see happen? how did you know, first of all, you were hit. well, it was everything was pretty darn quick, not hard to with everything that was happening. once the gunshots started going right off, and going through my mind was protecting my loved ones and my friends and that s what, you know, we just all huddled together behind the theater seats and held each other down and just tried to stay down and tried to, you know, get this past this quick as possible and hopefully done and over with. and that s about when i got i don t know how long it took, probably, 15, 20 minutes and that s when i first got my first gunshot into the leg and then shot in the arm. jon: how do you feel about
