One firefighter injured by collapsing wall in four-alarm Passaic fire Joshua Jongsma, NorthJersey.com Massive flames and collapsing walls created a hazardous rescue scene at a four-alarm fire in Passaic early Thursday as one firefighter was injured in the blaze on 4th Street. Two residents were rescued from a fire escape as they tried to avoid the smoke and flames, Passaic fire Chief Patrick Trentacost said.
