Police then found him to be intoxicated. Police identified the suspect as Joshua John, 25, of Latham. He faces one count each of second-degree burglary, a felony, along with misdemeanor aggravated DWI and other counts. The incident began just before midnight Thursday night when police received a call for a burglary in progress on Broadway, near Caroline Street, police said. The caller, 64, reported she was in her apartment and an unknown man began climbing in through an open living room window just prior to her call. The woman had no idea who the man was and yelled at him, police said. The man then left back through the window and took off on foot, police said.
