As the suspects were threatening to shoot, they say a Newark Police officer who sometimes stops by the gas station happened to be in the area and another attendant flagged him down and told the officer what was going on and they say the officer ordered the suspect to drop the gun. When the suspect refused, they say thats when the cop fired one shot, injuring the suspect in the torso area. He was quickly taken into custody as was the second have a gun. Thankfully, all of the attendants here at the gas station are fine. Incident. Police have since cleared the scene but they are collecting evidence for much of the night.
