Man thrown from his vehicle after an accident in North Kingstown

May 5, 2021 7:48 am NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I (WLNE) – A man was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital after he was thrown from his vehicle in a car accident. Police were called to Exeter Road just after 9:00 on Monday, where they say a man was thrown from his car after it went off the road and hit several trees. His condition is unknown at this time. The accident caused several trees to fall in the roadway, which caused another driver to get into an accident. The second driver was treated at the scene. ©WLNE-TV/ABC6 2021

CVS now offering walk-in/same-day vaccine appointments

59 locations are located in Rhode Island and 389 are in Massachusetts. According to CVS, same-day scheduling, including appointments as soon as one hour from time of scheduling are available at CVS.com AS of May 5, CVS is vaccinating in more than 8,300 stores in 49 states, Puerto Rico and Washington DC. Providence Police investigating overnight shooting on Indiana Ave

The shooting happened on Indiana Avenue according to police. One male victim was shot and sent to Rhode Island Hospital. The identity of the victim has not been released, pending the investigation. Police identify victim in fatal Flat River Road crash

Coventry police responded to Flat River Road near Gillespie Court to investigate an accident involving two vehicles at 9:07 p.m. Upon arrival, the drivers of the vehicles were transported to Kent and Rhode Island Hospital.
