On Friday night Altamont celebrated homecoming with a dominating performance winning big 72-39 over North Clay.
It was close early, as both teams traded trifectas but then the under five media time out hit and Altamont was off and running and never looked back. The Indians would go on 11-2 run after the timeout to break the game open. Altamont would go 9-10 from the field including five 3 pointers. The only shot Altamont missed was a last second heave at the quarter buzzer.
Altamont would continue the great shooting in the second quarter. Cardinals head coach Josh Zink called several timeouts to try to make some in game adjustments, but not much was working for North Clay. Altamont would end up shooting 72 percent from the field to end the half and extend the lead to 24 at the half 49-25.
