G LEAGUE Ignite is now in a precarious situation after suffering a humiliating 130-107 defeat to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers Friday (Manila time) at AdventHealth Arena in Orlando.
The select team had no answer for Kevin Porter, Jr. who came close to a triple-double to the tune of his 28 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds and steered Rio Grande Valley to an 8-6 record and tighten its hold of the eighth spot.
In turn, Ignite fell to its third straight defeat to slide down to a 7-7 card and in danger of missing the playoffs.

NBA 2K21 is getting an update for both current- and last-gen consoles. The current-gen patch features updates to prepare for the MyTeam Unlimited $250,000 Tournament on February 20, new decorations at 2K Beach to celebrate the Lunar New Year, the introduction of the traveling Big Top to 2K Beach, and several game improvements. The next-gen patch adds new music to the soundtrack, and updated player likenesses for several current NBA players.
A number of younger players have had their likenesses updated to better match their real-life appearances. This is the second batch of players who have had their appearances updated in NBA 2K21. A previous next-gen patch updated the look of several jerseys, courts, and other NBA players.

NBA 2K21 was updated on next-gen consoles Thursday morning, and the game s developers at Visual Concepts have finally released the official patch notes with a confirmed list of fixes. New NBA 2K21 Patches Released, Patch Notes Revealed

NBA 2K21 got a pair of updates this week, one of which is for the newer consoles including the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X and Series S while the other is for the past generation of consoles. The patch notes for the two updates are much different from one another depending on which version you’re downloading. Both updates had some notes in common, however, such as improvements on different players’ likenesses as well as various stability fixes and resolved bugs.
2K announced the release of the updates on Thursday with two distinct sets of patch notes for players to look over. The next-gen update is currently available on the Xbox Series X and Series S as well as the PlayStation 5 while the “current-gen” update is out for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam with other platforms to follow later.

Former Nittany Lions forward Lamar Stevens logged his first regular-season points in an NBA uniform in the Cavs’ 118-94 rout over the Sixers. Stevens sunk two free throws after getting fouled at the rim.

Stevens finished with two points and two rebounds in five minutes of play. He came in with the majority of Cleveland’s reserves late in the fourth quarter.
