The Hold Steady are an NYC indie-rock institution. The bandâs revered songwriter Craig Finn plumbs the depths of the human condition to tell stories that explore power, wealth, mental health, technology, capitalism, consumerism, and survival â issues which have compounded over the last 12 months. Their seventh studio album âThrashing Thru The Passionâ, released 15 years after their debut, showed the band rejuvenated, receiving critical praise far and wide in 2019. Now, theyâve unveiled their eighth collection of poetically punky musical works which carries their fresh momentum to expansive heights.

the next step after we get them to this stage we will gold tulle the back of the books. they were all hand tulled with jp mackenzie esquire and that will be the last part of the project. do you know on average around it costs per book to do it? it s going to depend on the size of the book because you ve got some of these books the works of john locket obviously a lot bigger this book so we have estimated about $350 when we did the estimate on the books that we would be working on this summer, per book. it s really funny cause the end sheets to match the end sheets the sheets are about $28 per just the marbled sheet to match these end sheets and so i need six sheets. but my student is a chemistry major and he came in one day and just asked, could i repair a book? well, i ll teach you how. he s been working in the library on and off with me this past semester and we re so excited to work on this project this summe summer. for more information on booktv s recent tri
