As proposed on Tuesday, the pond would have an area of 14.96 acres, though as school and watershed board members acknowledged, the watershed would need additional land included in the easement as a buffer.

WORTHINGTON ― The Worthington High School athletics department was given funds to improve WHS’s Trojan Field during the start of May.
Due to weather conditions, it has yet to be completed and is expected to be done by the end of October according to Josh Dale, the WHS athletics director. Contributions and funds were made by different organizations to help build the field. The school raised a total of $4 million dollars, including a $1 million donation from Sanford Worthington Medical Center to the school district to help with the construction of the field.
