Gordi Shares Live Performance of Sandwiches

Gordi Shares Live Performance of ‘Sandwiches’ Gordi has shared her performance of ‘Sandwiches’ recorded at Phoenix Central Park in Sydney. “It’s a genuine privilege to be able to play live music again as the pandemic rages on around the world,” Gordi says. “Tucked away in Chippendale in Sydney, Phoenix Central Park seemed an unassuming place when I first looked at it from the outside. But beyond the concrete door, there is this enchanting, arresting space. “On March 3rd of this year I performed there – it was just me, a harmonium I bought on Gumtree, a guitar, some noise-making things and a Fazioli. It felt like a church with one-hundred masked people sitting with me in silence. It was the day after Michael Gudinski had died. The show was beautifully recorded by Josh Craig and mixed by Karl Cash.

Debate is on about hunting pen-raised pheasants in South Dakota

Debate is on about hunting pen-raised pheasants in South Dakota Will South Dakota s pheasant hunting scene already laced with nearly 500,000 farm-raised birds increasingly rely on artificial propagation?  By Tony Kennedy Star Tribune November 20, 2018 9:11am Text size Copy shortlink: IPSWICH, S.D. A rooster jetted out of the corn stalks as soon as Mike Ward and Jax, his German shorthaired pointer, pushed into the crop a quarter-mile away. The bird flew low and straight, rising over a row of cedar trees that concealed two other hunters. One of them, Mike’s father, stepped out of the pines with a raised shotgun. He ended an otherwise crafty getaway with a single blast.
