Illinois State Police investigated an accident Friday morning that resulted in the death of an Illinois man. The accident occurred on I-64 eastbound at milepost 128.5 in Gray Township in White County. According to police, 45-year-old Aaron K. Enoch of Pickerington, OH was driving a semi in the right lane of the interstate and a pedestrian was walking in the same area. For unknown reasons, the pedestrian stepped into the lane of traffic directly into Enoch’s semi. The pedestrian was identified as 36-year-old Dustin T. Gregory of Lovington, IL and was pronounced dead at the scene. Enoch was hurt in the accident bur refused treatment. The accident occurred just before 3:50 Friday morning.

Other cases include Thomas McInerney, 58, of Wyld s Lane, Worcester who is accused of riding a bike while under the influence of drink or drugs. Josh Biggs, 24. of Blackpole Road. Worcester, is charged with common assault and criminal damage on April 6 this year.
