Chief Judge Frances Tydingco-Gatewood and a U.S. District Court jury continued hearing the methamphetamine conspiracy case against Mark Mayo Tuesday morning, continuing with lengthy testimony from U.S. Postal Inspector Richard Tracy about the events of May 10, 2018.
Rawlen Mantanona, Mayo s defense attorney, continued to pursue his line of questioning based on cell phone and social media records, emphasizing that his client had little or nothing to do with an effort to retrieve a package that originally contained methamphetamine from off-island.
When the package arrived in April 2018, it was intercepted by law enforcement, the drugs removed for testing and a tracking device installed. Surveillance began to see who picked it up.
