In a case involving the discipline leveled against three state prosecutors caught in the mire of the Sonja Farak drug lab scandal, the Supreme Judicial Court is set to consider to what extent an attorney’s reliance on a supervisor’s directions or a subordinate’s representations may be used to defend or mitigate charges of professional misconduct.
