Suisun City Council updates recreation, community service fees
Suisun City Vice Mayor Wanda Williams
SUISUN CITY The City Council this week created a new fee structure that will allow residents to rent the Joseph A. Nelson Community Center patio area – that is, when it reopens.
The center is currently closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“When someone rents the interior (of the center), the exterior is already included,” Vice Mayor Wanda Williams said in a phone interview Wednesday. “This is just an opportunity for residents in the community who only want to use the patio area.”
The weekday rate for the patio rental is $39 per hour for nonprofits, $59 per hour for private and for-profit events and $74 per hour on the weekends. A $200 deposit is also required.
