Local man sentenced for theft, drug charges
ZANESVILLE, Ohio – A local man will spend 44 months in prison on felony charges from five separate cases. 37-year-old Joseph Wentland III was sentenced Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court. He pleaded guilty in March.
Charges against Wentland included theft, breaking and entering, possession of criminal tools and possession of drugs. In addition to the prison time, Wentland was ordered to pay more than $7,500 restitution.
The charges against Wentland stemmed from multiple break-ins between October 2020 and January 2021.
