Family and friends of Romen Phelps, who was killed during confrontation with police at Dreyfoos School of the Arts last year rallied outside West Palm Beach Police Department one year after incident.
In a parking lot across the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts theater, near where Romen Phelps lost his life, family and loved ones of the 33-year-old gathered Saturday to remember their son, classmate and friend.
Students returned to Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach on Monday, just three days after a police officer shot and killed a former student who crashed a van through a locked entrance on campus.
