At Half Price Books in Tyler, they ve continued their mask policy. But while trying to enforce it, they ve had to call the police multiple times. Three times in the last three days is a little more than we have probably in the last four or five months, Half Price Books Store Manager, Joseph Mora, said.

D C United announce 2021 MLS preseason roster, Andy Najar on trial

United has 26 players under contract at the moment, 25 of whom are in camp (Paul Arriola remains on loan with Swansea City until sometime in May). The club has also invited ex-United players Andy Najar and Rodney Wallace to camp on trial, while 2021 second round pick Logan Panchot is with United as they weigh whether to offer him an MLS deal or start him out with Loudoun United at the USL Championship level. In an interview today with reporters, Loudoun head coach Ryan Martin added that D.C. may end up calling some Loudoun players into camp depending on team needs.

D C United adds KV Kortrijk defender Brendan Hines-Ike on loan

United today announced the acquisition of defender Brendan Hines-Ike, who will join the Black-and-Red on a one-year loan from Belgian top-flight side KV Kortrijk. Further terms of the deal, including whether or not United holds a purchase clause, were not announced, but United does reportedly hold such an option to make the move permanent. Rumors of the move, first reported by Steven Goff of the Washington Post, came up over the past few weeks. In a recent piece, Goff noted that Hines-Ike has already arrived in D.C. to begin his Covid-19 quarantine period before joining the opening stages of United’s first preseason under new head coach Hernán Losada.
