Proviso Superintendent James Henderson defended his actions during a heated exchange with school board member Claudia Medina earlier this week, saying it was she who had approached him aggressively.
A Proviso school board member filed a complaint against District 209 Superintendent James Henderson with police after a heated confrontation at a school board meeting this week.
The police chief said: “t should be noted this non-certified security officer is African American which negates the Superintendent’s underlying message that this is another example of police officers being driven by racial prejudice in the beating of this student.”
