Mr. Haney stated, “I truly believe that no doctor is worth that kind of money ($1,800 per person per year).” This is (for now) a free country, and obviously Mr. Haney has exercised his right to decline to be served. But likewise, the MAFP physicians have exercised their right to serve only as many patients as they think appropriate, and to maximize their income as independent business owners while doing it.
